We first sent samples for testing shortly after we decided to share this handy invention with you. As is often the case, production is constantly evolving.
Because a Waxopack wrap is made from several raw materials, we regularly send samples of our products to the Slovak Public Health Authority. Thanks to these laboratory tests, we can confidently say every year that Waxopack beeswax wraps are suitable for contact with food, meaning they don’t release any harmful substances. This certificate is internationally recognised and very important to us, because the cotton our wraps are made from is dyed. Our prints are made with eco-friendly dyes that hold the strictest certification for textile dyes, the one for contact with children’s skin.
